Dwij is a meditation and self-reflection app that uses Vedic astrology and AI to personalise daily content. This page is a high-level summary of how we handle your information. We will keep this in sync with the product as it evolves.
What we collect
The information you provide to register and use Dwij — including a name, the birth-related details required to personalise content, and your activity within the app (which content you opened, what you marked as resonant, what you completed). We also collect basic technical information such as IP address and device type for security and reliability.
How we use it
To operate the app, personalise your daily content, remember your progress, process any subscriptions or purchases, improve the product, and contact you about your account.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share data with a small number of service providers strictly to operate Dwij — including AI providers (to generate personalised content) and infrastructure providers (to host the application). We may also disclose information if required by law.
Retention and deletion
We keep your information for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion at any time by emailing us; we will action it within a reasonable period, except where we are legally required to retain certain records.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information at any time by emailing divyanshu@dwij.live. If you are in a jurisdiction with data protection rights (such as the EU/UK or India under the DPDP Act), you may exercise those rights by contacting us at the same address.
Security and children
We use TLS for traffic and standard practices for credentials. No system is perfectly secure; please report concerns promptly. Dwij is not directed at children under 16.
Changes
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the "last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you in the app or by email.
